Akeva is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering. Her research interests include understanding the connection between disease or disorder, biomarkers, and social concepts. Her aim is to become a researcher who advances the field of medicine such that there is a better awareness on how social environments influence the health of minorities using epidemiological and computational techniques.
