Emma Macy

Emma Macy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2023 from the University of Connecticut in 2022. During the Spring and Summer of 2022, she collaborated on a project that examined associations between former incarceration status, duration of detention, and self-reported oral health among African American women and men. She presented her study at the 2022 annual meeting of the Midsouth Sociological Society. Her study was published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
