Vangmayee is currently a sophomore on the pre-dental track, majoring in Allied Health Sciences with a minor in Anthropology of Global Health. She has strong interests in oral health and the treatment of underserved populations. Her research examines the associations between race/ethnicity, poor mental health outcomes, and the prevalence of periodontal disease.
